نبی ﷺ پر درود و سلام ` اللہ تعالیٰ کا حکم ہے جس کا انکار یا استخفاف کفر ہے اور اس کا اہتمام رسول اللہ ﷺ سے محبت اور والہانہ تعلق و وابستگی کا ذریعہ بھی ہے اور اس کی علامت اور دلیل بھی۔ لیکن وہ درود و سلام کون سا ہے اور اس کا طریقہ کیا ہے جس کا حکم مسلمانوں کو دیا گیا ہے اور جو محبت رسول ﷺ کا ذریعہ بھی ہے اور اس کی علامت بھی؟ زیرِ نظر کتاب اسیموضوع پر منفرد اور نہایت اہم کتاب ہے جو شیخ الاسلام امام ابن تیمیہ ؒ کی کتاب کا اردو ترجمہ ہے۔ اس میں صلوٰۃ و سلام کے تقریباً ہر موضوع پر تفصیلی، مدلل اور واضح گفتگو ہے۔ جیسا کہ امام ابن القیم ؒ کا اسلوب ہے جو اہلِ علم میں معروف ہے۔
